Boston Light House Swim....

Well it is the evening prior to the swim and I should be in bed. I spent time getting lost around the North Shore and getting home... Thank goodness for the New England Running Company that guided me to their place of business and had the Gu I was looking for. And tonight when I got lost again, the Zachim Suspension Bridge is a beautiful piece of architecture even if I wasn't supposed to be going that way....

And you wonder why the swims give me a boat to follow? I would lose my way in a brown paper bag even with directions.....

So the pup is having a sleepover and a spa day at the Kennel, the house is so empty without her and Mom.....

A little on the swim:

Well this swim is a laid back, class act so far, safety is the most important aspect of the swim and having a good time is second, even though we all know there will be speedsters out to win. More power to them. Last year's conditions were really tough, this year looks better.
But there is also Mr Parcel and Marcy MacDonald's Swim Across the Sound to benefit cancer research, a 25K that both organized in previous years and Marcy did this year. Good luck to all the swimmers and Sally Minty Gravitz, have a great swim tomorrow!

And I'm off to bed, more tomorrow or Sunday....
